Wood-look aluminium blinds made to measure in Galway

Wood-look aluminium venetian blinds are ideal when you want a timber feel in a Galway room that gets damp, such as an en-suite or a kitchen-diner. The slats are aluminium printed with a wood grain, so they are moisture-proof and lighter than real wood. A 35 mm slat is a good middle ground for most windows in the city's mid-century terraces: substantial enough to read as wood, slim enough for a shallow recess. On larger PVC windows in newer homes, 50 mm looks more generous. Fit inside the recess when there is at least a few centimetres of depth. Light oak or walnut prints pair well with grey slate and white walls.
