Bamboo venetian blinds made to measure in Galway

Bamboo venetian blinds bring a natural, slightly rustic look to dry rooms in Galway, such as a sitting room in a Claddagh terrace or a home office in a newer estate. Keep them out of bathrooms and steamy kitchens, because bamboo is not made for wet rooms. Wide 50 or 65 mm slats show off the grain and suit larger windows, while 35 mm fits the narrower openings of older stone houses. If the recess is deep and square, fit the made-to-measure blind inside it; on uneven plaster, mount it outside the recess so it hangs straight. Honey and natural tones warm up rooms under the grey western sky.
