Bamboo venetian blinds made to measure in Waterford

Bamboo venetian blinds work well in Waterford sitting rooms, studies and bedrooms where you want a natural, slightly textured look. They are a good match for renovated cottages and newer homes in the suburbs that lean towards a relaxed Scandinavian or coastal style. Pick 35 mm slats for an average bedroom window; they filter light gently without looking heavy. A wide bay window facing the street can carry 50 or 65 mm slats for a calmer, more architectural effect. Mount them outside the recess if the reveal is shallow or the window is slightly out of square, as often happens in older stone houses. Avoid bathrooms and kitchens, since bamboo should not sit in wet rooms. Natural honey and carbonised brown tones pair nicely with oak floors.
