Aluminium venetian blinds made to measure in Waterford

Aluminium venetian blinds are the practical answer for Waterford bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms, because they shrug off moisture and the damp coastal air from the estuary. In the semi-detached estates built from the 1970s onward, windows are usually modest uPVC frames, and a narrow 25 mm slat fits neatly inside such a recess without crowding the handle. Very shallow reveals or tilt-and-turn windows can even take 16 mm slats fixed close to the glass. Use 35 or 50 mm for a wider patio door where you want a bolder line. Brushed silver or anthracite looks crisp in a modern kitchen, while matt white disappears against white frames. Every blind is made-to-measure, and the free measuring insurance covers a wrong measurement if you slip up.
