Faux wood venetian blinds made to measure in Waterford

Faux wood venetian blinds give Waterford homes the look of timber in rooms where real wood would suffer. They are moisture-proof, so they belong in the bathroom of a terraced house, the kitchen over the sink or an extension with a lot of condensation in winter. Choose 50 mm slats as the standard: they read as wood from across the room and close tightly for privacy in a ground-floor room facing the footpath. For large back-garden windows, 65 mm slats cut down visual clutter. Fit inside the recess when there is at least a few centimetres of depth; otherwise mount above the frame and overlap the opening by about 4 cm each side. White and soft grey are the most popular finishes, matching uPVC window frames throughout the city's estates.
