Faux wood venetian blinds made to measure in Cork

Faux wood venetian blinds give you the look of timber in the rooms where real wood would struggle, which in Cork's humid climate means many kitchens and bathrooms. The PVC slats are moisture-proof and do not warp, so they work well in an extension kitchen in Douglas or a bathroom in a Victorian terrace with an old, draughty sash. A 50 mm slat is the most popular choice: it matches the proportions of most period windows and looks like a classic wooden blind. For a large patio door in a newer semi, 65 mm keeps the blind visually calm. Fit outside the recess if the window sill is shallow. White and off-white are easy to combine with painted woodwork.
