Bamboo venetian blinds made to measure in Cork

Bamboo venetian blinds bring a light, natural texture to living rooms and home offices in Cork, from a converted flat above a shop on the island to a red-brick terrace in Ballintemple. Like wood, bamboo dislikes steam, so leave bathrooms and the cooker wall to other materials. With the grey skies common in the south-west, a 50 mm slat lets in more daylight when open than a narrow one, while still closing for privacy at night. Bay windows look tidy with three separate blinds, each fitted inside its own section of the recess. Choose a pale natural shade to keep a north-facing room bright, or a darker caramel tone where the room catches afternoon sun. All sizes are made-to-measure.
