Wood-look aluminium blinds made to measure in Dublin

Wood-look aluminium venetian blinds combine slim aluminium slats with a timber finish, and they work well in the newer Dublin apartments of the Docklands and in tight kitchens and bathrooms all over the city. They are moisture-proof and lighter than a wooden blind, which helps on wide windows. Choose 25 mm slats on a small apartment window, where a thin blind leaves more light; 35 mm suits a standard kitchen window and 50 mm a broad living-room pane. Fit them inside the reveal if there is a few centimetres of depth, otherwise on the frame or wall. An oak or walnut print pairs nicely with grey frames and pale floors.
