Wooden venetian blinds made to measure in Dublin

Wooden venetian blinds suit Dublin's Georgian and Victorian rooms best, especially living rooms and bedrooms with tall sash windows. In Dublin 2 and 4, the deep reveals of Georgian terraces make in-recess fitting the natural choice: the blind sits neatly inside the window and the original shutters or architraves stay visible. Choose 50 mm slats for those high windows, because wider slats look in proportion and give a clear view over the square when tilted open. Basswood in white or soft grey matches painted joinery, while rustica or a warm oak tone works with period floors. Keep wood out of the bathroom and away from the hob; Dublin's damp air is fine in a heated living room, not in a steamy one.
